Never Alone Again

Posted in The Journey at 10:17 pm by Brian

There are always ups and downs when dealing with a group like AMF. The downs, of course, are obvious. Broken homes, hurt children, families wondering why, why, why. Why is this happening? Why wont our loved one have anything to do with us? How can we be hurt so much, over and over, and they think it’s OK? That their doing the work of Jesus himself?

But there are some ups too. One of the things you realize is that your not alone. That the feelings that course through you are shared by others. There are others out there, that have seen, felt, been immersed in the same kind of pain that you have. Never would you wish it on anyone, but the knowledge that the group, and it’s leaders, have hurt others before you is sobering. On the one hand it hurts. It hurts knowing that people you once called friends could do such incredible damage to good people and never bat an eye. But, then again, when they’ve done the same thing to you, it’s good to know that maybe, just maybe, someone has an idea of the pain your feeling.

Victims of cults like AMF, or leaders like Ardith & Bill Keef, you are not alone.
