About
My name is Brian Dobson and I desperately need your help. My wife and child have been taken by an abusive church group known as “Anchor Missionary Fellowship” headquartered in Gorham Maine (207) 839-5922. This group is supported by a website known as www.ardithkeef.com. I was once, sad to say, a member of this group. The pastor’s child talks about terrible abuse suffered. That letter may be viewed here.
I also have worked for Ardith Keef at www.ardithkeef.com and am well aware of how this group operates. This group first worked against us by separating my wife from her family (who are 20 year veterans of missionary service in Thailand) then, as I found out later, did everything they could to seperate her from my family, starting before we were married, by acting forcefully and with purpose to keep my wife away from my family, even before our marriage.
Now, as can be expected, they have also seperated her from me and her two step children. All by twisting doctrine to support their objectives. My wife will no longer speak with her family at all. They have sent Christmas gifts which she refused to open. She has virtually stopped contact with me as well, short of the occasional email. Their control over her is total and absolute. I don’t know if she can ever be rescued from this. But I do know that anyone that supports this group is, through their support, seperating more and more families.
My brother in law has created an excellent site regarding this organization. When he was trying to rebuild a relationship with my wife (his sister) he agreed to take it down and deleted it. He hasn’t heard back from her since. I have also started a blog regarding this situation and it can be found here. You can also keep current on the situation by adding this RSS feed to your iGoogle page, simply by clicking here.
When my wife was coerced to abandon us with our youngest child, moving into Anchor’s so called ‘Isaac House’ for the second time, this is what she gave for a reason “I know you are working hard and doing everything you can – but just performing works doesn’t get us anywhere,” followed up with “It’s God’s job to make sure we survive. It’s our job to teach the kids trust in Him, love and respect for one another and Him, character and so on… no matter what the circumstance.” Yes, I’m trying as hard as I can but that’s not enough. You see, I know that Anchor Missionary Fellowship and ardithkeef.com are frauds and that they use their resources to hurt and seperate others. I’m no longer “anchorite” enough to live with, despite my multiple attempts to find a church to attend with my wife, I’m not Christian enough, in Anchor terms. This is an incredibly elitist group who believe, as an Anchor member once said, “There’s only 1000 real Christians in the world.”
As a side note to this I have 2 children that saw my wife as a step mother. Of course, she hasn’t seen them since she left. As horrible as it is, she won’t even allow them to see our son Isaac. Now these children, 11 and 4 years old, cannot even see the brother they have known since birth. Apparently they arn’t ‘anchorite’ enough either. If you support Anchor Missionary Fellowship or ardithkeef.com this is what your supporting.
If you desire more information regarding the abuses of Anchor Missionary Fellowship please visit www.anchorabuse.org. The list of abused people is long.
If you would like to contact Anchor or ardithkeef.com directly regarding this they have the following contact addresses. The Pastor has apparently shut down his email address so the store’s toll free number is listed, should you wish to call and ask about the situation. Ardith runs the show anyway, so it’s just as well to contact her.
William Keef (Pastor of Anchor)- Bill has shut down his email, but feel free to call him on the toll free Ardith Keef phone number 1-866-834-1198

If your a knitter or crocheter I urge you to stop supporting this by no longer purchasing products from ardithkeef.com. I also ask that you forward this to anyone you know including other knitters or prayer groups within your church.
If you copy this text and place it somewhere else please do not modify it, add to it, or create derogatory titles for it. It does, after all, have my name on it.
Respectfully,
Brian Dobson
